Fun Adventures in Greenville, SC
As a prior 1st grade teacher, mom and adventurer, I love exploring, new experiences and intentional learning with our kids. Over Labor Day weekend, we stayed in the cutest Airbnb in the Historic District of Greenville,SC called The Mouse House. The house is located within walking distance of The Children’s Museum of the Upstate aka TCMU. You might be wondering why the house was called The Mouse House? Downtown Greenville has a fun art installment along Main Street: 9 bronze mice are hidden along the way to find as you walk through downtown. This 100 year old home has 9 rooms, and the owners hid 1 metal mouse in each of the 9 rooms of the house. Pretty cute right? The kids had a blast finding the mice in the house and downtown.
This was our first time visiting TCMU. If you are looking for somewhere fun and interactive to go, that costs you about same price as a movie ticket, $9 for kids (kids under 1 year get in free/$10 for adults, this was a great experience! If you live near Greenville, SC I’d suggest a family membership so you can visit all year long! There are 3 levels of fun to explore!
